I am grateful to Joan for Providenti quest'assoluto act of love: to reconstruct the life of a great writer , for daring to come out of what was expected of a lady who writes, was rejected, isolated, dusty outraged by criticism, arrogant and terrified of every female literary empire free and unpredictable, who dares to leave the charges set by fashion.
È un lavoro sapiente quello di Giovanna che fa riflettere anche su come dieci, trent'anni fa, malgrado il femminismo, malgrado the apparent freedom, femininity might still be a prison, an exclusion, an invisible web that sometimes seems to still fall on women who are not rules, new conformism in which you try to lock them up.
detailed, rich, documented, telling a difficult character and still unknown, except to the facts now known (the cinema, theater, theft, political commitment, prison, poverty, love ), this biography is able to make a great character: tell us how much the figure of abnormal Goliarda can speak of the rebellion, and that silent pain that many women almost always hide injuries to protect themselves from the world.
