The project started recently, and the accuracy from the meeting of two musicians at the Berklee Jazz School clinics held in Perugia in July 2010.
The two musicians come from different experiences, from quartet to trio, but lie in full symbiosis of art, managing to present a broad repertoire, with original songs written by Cataldo and Manzi and traditional standards. The modern arrangements and personal through different styles, while still maintaining a melodic line and staff can also be accessed by non-expert audiences.

Francesco Cataldo Guitarist, composer and arranger, began his musical studies very young. After the first rock and fusion, and classical guitar lessons, approaches to jazz in 2000. He began privately studying jazz guitar, harmony, composition and arrangement and continued at the Conservatorio V. Bellini in Palermo. He participated in numerous seminars by members of the jazz world including: Adam Rogers, Enrico Rava, Marco Rosa, Paolo Damiani, Bob Stoloff, Maurizio Giammarco, Rosario Giuliani, John Thomas, Tonolo Marcello, Marco Tamburini, Marcello Pellitteri, Sandro Gibellini, John Taylor, Cameron Brown, Billy Hurt, Roberto Ottaviano. He began to perform in concerts and participates in several musical events, among them include Villa Celimontana 2008, Roma Jazz's Cool 2007 (Casa del Jazz, Rome), IV International Festival of Jazz Sergio Amato (Syracuse, 2007), Jazz Festival in Noto (Noto, 2003). He recorded his first album as a trio with Paris and Roberto Giaquinto Furzi getting favorable feedback on Jazz It, with a review of Sergio Pasquandrea that describes very well the work performed as a trio.

Gabriele Manzi
Nato a Roma, si dedica allo studio del pianoforte jazz come autodidatta. In seguito studia con Claudio Passavanti, Alessandro Crispolti, Giovanni Ceccarelli, Stefano Sabatini. Nel ‘99 Frequenta i corsi di Siena Jazz sotto la guida di Franco d’Andrea ed Enrico Pieranunzi. Successivamente frequenta i seminari di Fabriano Injazz, vincendo la borsa di studio come miglior allievo nel 2003.Ha collaborato con Lorenzo Fontana, il clarinettista americano Bill Smith, Ludovico Carmenati, Matteo Marcucci, Alessandro Paternesi, Piercarlo Salvia, Elisa Tonelli, il gruppo Back to the Beatles, il gruppo electro-jazz Belote Bar.d in several years is part and parcel of the nu-jazz Jazid ('99 winner of the prize "Jazz and Image" at Villa Celimontana), with whom he performed in several Italian and international festivals. Always with Jazid has won two discs as a composer and producer. She is also dedicated to composing soundtracks for theater and short films.
