Iran deems "racist" the logo of the next Olympic Games in London in 2012 and sent an official protest to the IOC, the International Olympic Committee. The reason for this view is due to the fact that the logo can be seen the word "Zion." addition to having made a formal protest took the IOC, has called on other countries, particularly those Arabs to join this protest.
Meanwhile, the IOC, in a statement reported by Reuters has denied the accusation of a racist logo and explains that this logo does not contain the word "Zion", but simply the date 2012. Iran insists that reading the logo is not so orizzantale, but vertical is the word Zion.
